Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, Theresa Marie Griffin (nee Picco), aged 70 years. She passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family at the Palliative Care Unit, L. A. Miller Centre on November12, 2024.
Predeceased by her husband Daniel Griffin, her sisters Josephine Picco and Bride Quessy, as well as her parents Leonard and Rita Picco Lake and stepfather Edward Lake, nephews Jonathan Lake and Darrell Green.
Left to mourn with fond and loving memories her cherished sons, Danny (Christina), and Brad (Lynn), and her beloved daughter Cheyenne. Five grandchildren whom she adored: Mackenzie, Brody, Riley, Marcus, Kera and step grandson Drew. Also left to mourn sisters, Geraldine, Jane (Gary), Noreen (Ken), Marilyn, and Gladys (Jerry). Brothers, Ron (Ellen) and Dave (Jessie). Sister-in-law Elizabeth Maze (Robert), Aunt Neta and Dave Hibbs, her best friend Judy and cousin Olive, as well as many other extended family and friends.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her sister Marilyn and her nephew Adam, with whom she resided, who took such kind care of our mother in her final years. As well as the compassionate team of doctors, nurses and volunteers at the palliative care unit.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. with a funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in Caul’s Chapel. Private burial will take place at a later date.
