Ronald Francis McInnis
Loch Leven, NL
November 19th 1942 – May 12th 2024
It is with heavy broken hearts that the McInnis family announce the passing of their beloved father, brother, uncle and grandfather, Ronald Francis McInnis, after a long courageous battle with cancer at the age of 81.
Ron is predeceased by his parents Alexander (1970) and Clara (2016), his wife Joan (2008), his sons Jason (1986) and Brian (2023), and his sister Gertrude (2018).
Leaving to mourn are sons Stephen (Lisa) and Sandy “Alex”, and his beloved granddaughters Hillary and Jenna, brothers Jim (Barb), Walter, sister Angela, and a very large circle of extended family and friends.
Ron was a friend to everyone he met and a man without complaint. He loved the outdoors and spent many hours on his bike or side by side, exploring Newfoundland, fishing, fixing up trails, and having boil ups with friends.
He will be missed dearly. Forever in our hearts.
As per Ron’s request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service and celebration of life for Ron will be held at a later date. The family greatly appreciates the outpouring of love and support from friends and family and would like to thank everyone for their kind gestures and expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.
