It is with my deepest sorrow that I announce the passing of my husband Raymond (Raymie) John Cole, at 56 years of age.
Predeceased by his father, Raymond Cole, father-in-law, James (Jim) O’Neill and nephew, Chad Martin.
Leaving to mourn the love of Ray’s life, his wife, Gloria. As Ray would say it, “I got the best life ever.” Cherished fur babies Chaytor, Asker and Cattie.
Also leaving to mourn are his mother, Monica Cole, daughter, Miranda-Rae Cole ( Taylor Jackson),sister Dana Conway (Billy), special buddy, stepson Johnathan Knee (Courtney), stepdaughters Christina and Kaitlin Knee, grandchildren Carter, Roman, and step-grandchildren Maylene and Bowen, mother in law, Gladys O’Neill, sister in laws Gail O’Neill, Bev O’Neill (Donny, deceased), brother in laws, Jimmy O’Neill (Teresa) and Glen O’Neill (Lynette), very special nieces and nephews, especially Abby and Ben. Special friend Susan Knee, Special neighbors Blair Hickey, (Leanne), Corey Bearns , Phil ( Brenda), Ryan (Melanie) long time friend, Jerome Coady, Nancy (Steve),as well as many friends and coworkers, especially those in the Tik Tok community (whoever Will Power is).
Writing this obituary for my husband Ray (also affectionately known as Raymie) is an act of love that transcends the grief not only from me but from each and every one of you as well. This is more than a notice of Ray’s passing; it’s a heartfelt homage to a life deeply intertwined in us all. We honor the irreplaceable void that Ray leaves and the indelible mark he has made in us all. Today we celebrate a cherished life and the enduring legacy of love, laughter and shared moments that Ray has forever no doubt blessed us with. He was crafted in such a unique way of the man behind the name Ray Cole. He took such dedication and pride with his two hands and was so proud from start to finish in everything he built with those two hands, from every major construction project and every time those hands would wrap around me. I’m positive that he is looking down on me now saying, “ Are you serious right now?” He always told me, “ I love you Glo, more than life itself!”
Ray will not only be remembered for his work ethic, and love for his family but also for his tremendous sense of humour. Ray loved to make everyone laugh in person and with his Tik Tok videos. Ray had an enormous social media following; he touched many lives around the world and they are now repaying that love through the outpouring of support.
As per Raymond’s request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
