Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital, Mary Boland, aged 97 years.
Predeceased by husband Michael (2006), parents John and Mary Evans, brother William, sisters Sheila Snow, Dorothy Skiver and Margaret Tizzard, son-in-law Roger Tuff and granddaughter Jennifer Boland.
Leaving to mourn her cherished family Gary (Barb), Janet, Paul (Leila), Mary Lynn Tuff (Lloyd) and Michelle Burt (Kevin).
Nan will be missed and remembered with love by grandchildren Stephen Boland (Amy), Leanne Haye (Scott), Lesley Quinlan (Jeff), Shawn Tuff, David Tuff (Amy), Maria Kavanagh (Chris), Danielle Lewis (Paul) and Joshua Burt (Kim). Also great grandchildren: Cameron and Brielle, Aiden, Ben and Connor, Hannah and Zander, Chase and Beau, Grace; sister Pauline Frank, brother-in-law Donald Skiver and brother-in-law Frank Boland, as well as many other relatives and friends.
Mom loved being with family, time at the cabin, and a good game of cards. She was an avid bowler until the age of 95 and a passionate Toronto Blue Jays and curling fan.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home LeMarchant Road on Saturday 2pm – 8pm and Sunday 2pm – 5pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa’s Church on Monday December 30, 2024 at 10 am with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Mary’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
