Obituary
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Josephine Hawco (nee Kean). Linda passed away peacefully at the Health Science Centre on December 24, 2024, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family.
Linda is predeceased by her loving parents; John and Joan Kean, her brothers; James (Bernadette), and Eric (Barb), her sisters; Helen (Ken), nephew; Johnny Kean, mother and father-in-law; Elizabeth Hawco and Anthony Hawco, and sister-in-law; Angela Marchildon.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Linda is survived by the love of her life, and devoted husband of 57 years, Tony Hawco. She also leaves to mourn her three daughters; Linda (Ivan), Judy, Sharon (Rob), her son; Paul, her brothers; Brendan (Theresa), Brian (Marie), her sisters in law; Madonna (Joe), Betty (Rick), and Anita (Les). Linda (Nanny) will also be greatly missed by her 7 grandchildren; Jannessa (Curtis), Andrew, Jenna, Tyson, Parker, Lucas, and Marcos, and also her special fur baby, Lulu, they were all a bright light in her life.
Linda was so much fun to be around. She loved to spend time and get together with family and friends, and she was usually the life of the party. Linda had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh, and make others laugh.
Linda loved her family more than anything, but her other love was for her fur babies. She loved and spoiled each one of them; Topaz, Holly, Savanagh, and Lulu. They meant so much to her and she loved them with all her heart, as she loved everyone.
Her family would like to thank all of the staff at the Health Science Centre (4SB) for their compassion and dedication to her care, it meant so much during a very difficult time.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation to take place at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, on Friday, January 3, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at Caul’s Chapel, on Saturday, January 4, 2024, at 10 a.m.
