With great sadness we announce the passing of John Joseph Gauci on May 20, 2024 age 77 years. Remembered with love by Selena, daughters Tanya (Tommy), and Vanessa (Chris); his adored grandchildren Kayla (Taylor), Taylor (Kyle), Charlie, Lauren, and Thomas. He delighted in visits from his great grandchildren Winter and Kylie and always laughed at their silliness. John also leaves memories with his sisters Marg (Ray), Mary (Phil), and Carm, his beloved brothers Tony (Anna) and Frank (Maureen) and sister-in-law Heather (Rob). He will be fondly remembered by his good friend Ron Francis who he spoke with daily. Also leaving to mourn many nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends and colleagues. John’s family would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff of 5 South A of the Health Sciences Centre for the compassionate and care they gave him over the past few months. Visitation to take place from Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Thursday, May 23, from 2pm-9pm. Funeral service will be held from Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road, on Friday, May 24, at 11:30am, with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Columbarium. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made in memory of John to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
