It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, Elizabeth Constantine (nee Hannaford) in her 92nd year surrounded by her loving family at Glenbrook Lodge, on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
Predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Bennett and her second husband, Gerald Constantine and her sisters Irene and Margaret.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children, Daniel (Elaine) Bennett, Mary Lou (Ron) Butt, Diane (James) Rose, Tom Bennett, and Jamie (Janet) Bennett; her eight grandchildren, Pamela, Paula, Darlene, Deanne, Sarah, Jessica, Hannah, and Hiliary as well as her fourteen great grandchildren; her sisters Mary White and Florence Kendall; her brother James (Angela) Hannaford (Alberta); special niece Betty Day; special caregiver Ange Wiseman as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Special thanks to Dr. Susan Mercer and Dr. Jennifer Perry, Geriatric Medicine Division, Eastern Health for their guidance and support.
Special thanks to all staff at Hillcrest Estates and Glenbrook Lodge for their compassionate care of our mom.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Sunday, April 7, 2024 with visitation from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Caul’s Chapel on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Mount Pearl, NL.
