It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late Dorothy (Dot) Power announce her passing at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Sunday, December 29th, 2024, surrounded by family.
Our sister and aunt was the person we counted on to keep the family connected and was a wealth of family knowledge of past and present. She was always there to lend a helping hand for her loved ones. Dot will be forever remembered and loved by all who knew her.
Predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Power, baby sister (Molly), her brothers Cyril Power (Marie), William Power (Geraldine), Robert Power; sisters Helen McCann (Mike), Kathleen Field (Hal) and sister-in-law Carmel Power.
Leaving to mourn her brothers John Power and Gerald Power (Carmel); sister-in-law Anna Power; nephew and his family with whom she resided, Brian Field (Sheila) and their children Steven (Ashleigh and daughter Claire) and Stacey Ouellette (Timothy and children Owen and Natalie). Her many nieces and nephews: David, Robert, Maureen, Margaret Ann, Paul, Bill, Betty, Pats, Mike, Michelle, Keith, Lisa, Glen, Ron, Janet, Howie, Barry, Glenn, Greg and Roberta and many other family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. She is resting at Caul’s funeral home with visitation on Friday, January 3rd from 2pm-4pm and 7pm – 9pm. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 from Caul’s Chapel at 12noon. Inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dot’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
