Obituary
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Debbie Boland (Bragg). Debbie was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. She passed away peacefully at the L.A. Miller Center on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024, after losing her courageous battle with cancer.
Debbie was a kind, compassionate and thoughtful person who loved life and enjoyed it to the best she knew how and never stopped looking for new experiences. She was a model of strength and courage and an inspiration to her family and friends.
She leaves to mourn with loving memories her devoted husband Denis, beloved children Jennifer and Christopher whom she adored and was so very proud of, her mother Joan Bragg, sisters; Janet Lacey (Bragg), Sharon Ann McCrate (Frank), Edwina Walsh (Bragg), Jackie Jardine (Jack), Carrie Gosse (Paul) Joan Abbass (Michael) brothers Ed Jr. (Beverly), Gerry (Sheila), Paul sister-in-law Bernadette Cahill brothers-in-law Paul (Wanda) and Joe (Helen) and numerous nieces and nephews and a large circle of friends.
Predeceased by her father Edward Bragg Sr., mother-in-law Ann Boland, father-in-law James Boland and brother-in-law Jerry Lacey Sr.
Special thanks to Jamie Carrigan who was Debbie’s guardian angel during her stay at the Health Science Center.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, 84 LeMarchant Road on Wednesday from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.- 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Outer Cove on Thursday, June 27th at 11 a.m.
Debbie has passed from this world physically, but she did not die alone as a piece of each of our hearts went with her.
