In Loving Memory of Clarence Patrick Clancey
Clarence Patrick Clancey at the age of 75, passed away peacefully at St. Claire’s Hospital on the morning of Thursday, August 15th, 2024.
Clarence had a deep passion for music and was known for his love of dancing and kicking up a jig. His joy for music and dance was a defining aspect of his life, and he will be fondly remembered for the happiness he found in these moments.
He was predeceased by his dear friend Betty, his beloved sisters Beatrice and Clara and brothers Bryan, Mike and Rich. Their presence in his life was significant, and their memories will be cherished.
Clarence is survived by his family, his son Sean (Bonita), his daughters Cheryl and Susan (Jonathan), and his granddaughters Lauryn, Allyson, Peydon, and Lexi. He is also remembered by his sisters Liz and Carol (Ralph); his brothers Jack (Pearl), Dave (Jean), Doug (Louise), and Robert (Louise) and brother-in-law Doug, sister-in-law Sharon, and close friend Danny, along with many nieces and nephews who will carry his memory forward.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at St. Claire’s Hospital for their compassionate care and support during Clarence’s final days.
In accordance with Clarence’s wishes, cremation will take place. There will be no public visitation, but a private inurnment will be held to honor his life.
May the Newfie jig live on forever in your dancing shoes.
