Passed peacefully away on Wednesday June 26th, 2024 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by his wife Linda (nee Steele); parents Gladys and William; brothers William (Trudy), Pat (Sandra), Kevin, and Jerry; sisters Maureen and Janet; brother-in-law Edward
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving children Stephen (Paula) & Glenn (Renee); granddaughter Ashley; grandsons Andrew (Kayla), Jackson and Parker; great-grandson Carter; great-granddaughter Claire; brothers, Ray (Goldie), Don (Judy), and Angus (Monique); sisters Terry and Mary (George); sisters-in-law Debbie, Judy, Gertrude; as well brother and sister- in-laws, nieces, nephews and a close circle of friends especially Ken and June Byrne, Gerry and Anna March and Doreen (Al predeceased) Smith.
Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Rd. On Thursday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. 9 p.m.
Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to take place 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2024 at St. Theresa’s Church. Inurnment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donation may be made in Basil’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society.
