It is with great sadness that the family of Ronald “Ronnie” Biggs, a native of Riverhead, St. Mary’s Bay, announces his sudden passing at his home in St. John’s, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the age of 65 years.
Predeceased by his parents William & Christina Biggs, two brothers Austin and John (Rita) and brother-in-law Merle Brett.
Ronnie will be forever remembered by his four sisters: Theresa Brett, Anne Bolger (Gordon), Dolores Biggs (Bruce), Denise Linehan (Clem), one brother William and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Gibbons’ Funeral Home, St. Mary’s, on Tuesday, August 27, from 10:00am – 1:30pm, to be immediately followed by a graveside service at St. Joseph the Worker Cemetery in Riverhead. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association at www.lung.ca/donate
