Patricia (Patsy) Kelloway (nee Woodman) Obituary
Passed away peacefully at the Health Science Center on December 19, 2023 after a long battle with cancer. Patricia (Patsy) Kelloway (nee Woodman).
She was pre-deceased by her father Ronald Woodman and her mother Winnie Woodman (nee Dicks), father in law Eric Kelloway, mother in law Marjorie Kelloway, her grandparents Maxwell and Laura Dicks and Martin and Ida Jane Woodman.
Patsy was affectionately known for her quick wit and ability to write poetry in record speed. She loved her time spent at the cabin and cruising in the Carribean.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 34 years Dick; her fur baby Sammie; her brother Steve Woodman (Cecilia); nephew Matthew; niece Laura Piccott (Warren); great nieces Emily and Thea Piccott; her brother- in -laws Wade Kelloway (Tina), Glen Kelloway (Leona); sister -in -law Roxanne Peters as well as many cousins and friends. She will be sadly missed by her work family at McDonald’s where she worked for 36 years working in several locations but especially her Topsail Road staff and her cabin buddies at Brigus Junction.
Special thanks to Community Health Nurse Vickie Young, Dr. Popadiuk and staff at the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Center for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl on Friday December 22, 2023 from 12 noon to 7:00 pm. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ronald McDonald House Charities.
