Owen Benoit age 45 years. Passed away in the presence of his loving family on July 21, 2024 at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre.
Leaving to mourn is his wife, Dianne Mercer; daughter Hannah Mercer; his parents: Adonis and Loretta Benoit; sisters: Stephanie (John) Kennell; Christina Benoit (Randy); parents-in-law: David Mercer (Claudette Matthews) and Jean Fillier; sister-in-law, Melissa Mercer (Jordan); nieces: Gracie, Jenna and Jessica and nephew, Wally; special cousin and best friend, Eric Hoskins; as well as many aunts, uncle, cousins, friends and family.
Special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Health Science Centre 5 south B and the staff at the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre, Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Owens memory to the Canadian Cancer Association or to a charity of one’s choice.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26, 2024 from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
