Mackenzie Elizabeth Patrick
Age 36 Years
Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Center in the presence of Lori Patrick, Don Patrick, Kennedy Brown, and Egdar Gillingham on August 16, 2024.
Mackenzie was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend. In her short life she accomplished so much in her academic career, overcame obstacles with an abundance of strength and filled our lives with love and light. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
She is predeceased by her grandmothers: Joyce Gillingham, Doris Patrick, and Gertrude Morrissey; grandfathers: Donald Patrick and Edward Morrisey.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughter: Allie Hamilton; mother: Lori Patrick; dad: Don Patrick; sisters: Kennedy Brown and Miranda Morrissey; brother-in-law: Jon Brown; nephew: Lou Brown; grandfather: Egdar Gillingham; Uncles: Dion Gillingham and Ward Patrick; cousins: Zachary Gillingham and Nathan Gillingham; aunt: Gredi Patrick; father: Ed Morrissey and stepmother: Veronica Morrisey.
Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Avenue on August 21, 2024, from 10am – 12pm and from 2pm to4pm. Mackenzie’s Celebration of life will then follow at 4pm in Barrett’s Memorial Chapel Mount Pearl.
