Passed peacefully away after a courageous battle with ALS surrounded by her loving family on November 7, 2024.
Louise leaves behind her devoted husband of 55 years Gus. Cherished mother of Scott (Brigitte), Stephen (Stephanie C) and 3 grandchildren, Marissa, Marcus and Andrew; brothers: Harold Jr, (Marie) and Richard (Daphne); also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her beloved parents Harold and Jennie Parsons of Carbonear and her Brother Sam.
Louise will always be remembered for her absolute love of gardening. During the summer months she would spend endless hours tending to her beautiful garden at their summer place in Freshwater (CBN).
Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Barrett’s Funeral Home, St. John’s on Monday, November 11 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Wesley United Church, St. John’s on Tuesday, November 12 at 2 p.m.
Burial to take place on Wednesday November 13 at 2:30 p.m. at the United Church Cemetery in Freshwater, CBN.
Flowers accepted or donations may be made to the ALS Society of Newfoundland and Labrador (Donate Now – ALS Newfoundland and Labrador).
