It is with tremendous heartbreak that we announce the unexpected passing of our cherished Holly on December 16, 2024, at the young age of 30 years.
Predeceased by her Grandparents James and Phyllis Swinimer and Grandmother Elizabeth Skanes.
Leaving with loving memories, her devoted Mother, Susie Nightingale (Stephen); Her Son: Joseph, who meant everything to her, she loved him more than life itself. Siblings: William, Emily (Issac), Cicero, Stephen, and Heather. Uncles: Scott (Carolann) and Steve (Lorrie). Aunts: Janet (Barry) and Phyllis (Leon); Grandparents Robert and Bessie Nightingale; and a large list of loving cousins, including:
Special cousins: Kathleen (Floyd), Kimberly, and Kaitlyn, we thank you for being there for Holly, with your friendship and support.
Holly was an old soul; her strength, perseverance, and tenacity helped her to overcome many life struggles. She suffered tremendously with numerous mental health issues, throughout it, she kept her marvelous sense of humor and her colorful, adventurous personality.
Our family extends a heartfelt thank you to Mike Burgess, Virginia, Mary, (the Jazz Team); as well as Dartmouth Connections and Nova Scotia Community Services for the endless compassion, guidance and support you showed Holly.
Our world is a dimmer place without you! We love you, Holly.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Holly’s memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Holly’s Life will be held in Nova Scotia in the spring or summer.
