Diane Marie Myles
It is with broken hearts that the family of Diane Myles of Paradise, formerly of Marystown, announce her sudden passing on July 7, 2024 at the age of 48.
Leaving to mourn her son Matthew, father Larry Myles, mother Mary Thistle and step father George Thistle, grandmother Mary Myles, brother Geoffrey Myles (Allison), sister Pamela Myles, nieces Erica Murphy, Avery Phelan and Clara Myles and nephew Lukas Zaja as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Diane is predeceased by her grandparents: Samuel Myles and Walter and Isabella Coady, Uncles: Harvey Myles and Thomas Coady, Aunts: Irene Myles and Dianne Coady, her “soul sister”, cousin Jacqueline Rideout and her beloved nephew and godson Noah Zaja.
Diane would easily be described as having a pure heart of gold. She was deeply loving, thoughtful and compassionate and had a smile that could light up a room. She adored her family and could never end a call or visit without telling people how much she loved them. Diane would tell anyone that the greatest accomplishment of her life was raising her cherished son, Matthew, who was the light of her life.
Our world will be a little less bright without her here and she will be so very missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
Given Diane’s strong desire to always help someone in need, the family is asking that a donation or act of kindness be done in Diane’s memory in lieu of flowers.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel.
Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
