It is with deep sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Bernice Squires in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Nelson and her son Terry. Parents Roland and Gladys Sheppard. Brothers Roland, Graham, Lloyd and Wayne.
Left with wonderful memories her sons Stephen, Glenn (Mary), daughter Debby Andrews (Tony), grandchildren Kimberly (Mark), Ashley (Jon), Holly (Kiel), Robyn (Ryan), and Adam. Great grandchildren Lucy, Katie, Chloe Collins and Jett Williams, whom she adored. Sisters May Matthews, Carol Ann Sheppard, sister in laws Elizabeth and Olive Sheppard and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Friday June 7th, 2024, 2:00pm-4:00pm & 7:00pm-9:00pm. Funeral Service will take place Saturday June 8th 2024 at 2:00pm from Barrett’s Chapel. Interment to follow Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Special thanks to the staff of 7 West St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
