It is with deepest sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, Augusta K Morris, passed peacefully in the comfort of her home, surrounded by loved ones.
Predeceased by husbands, Irving Morris & James Nicol, Daughter Roxanne Chafe – Noseworthy, sister Lilian Meadus, brothers Edwin Chafe, Gorden Chafe, Charles Chafe, grandchildren Valerie Pollard and Heather Pollard.
Leaving to mourn Sons Maurice (Donna) Nicol, Roy Nicole, Granddaughter Nadeen (Rae) Chafe, Grandsons JR (Kim) Pollard, Don (Kim) Chafe, Sheldon Nicol, Hayden Nicol, great grandchildren Aiden, Sabastian, Anna, Jasper, Emma and Grayson, Nieces Frances McNevin, and Sylvia Meadus.
Augusta was an extremely hard worker who would do everything and anything for her family. She found peace with God and is now at her final resting place. She had a special place in her heart for all her animals over the years but more recently, her heart belonged to her cat Cuddles/Tiger. He was her pride and joy.
Special thank you to all of Augusta’s home care workers who cared for her so deeply. We are grateful for your compassion and support.
Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Saturday, October 7 from 10 a.m. – 12 noon. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Saturday, October 7 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow at the Non-Denominational Cemetery, Paradise Road.
