November 20, 1935 – July 16, 2024
Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family at the Health Science Centre on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 age 88 years.
Predeceased by his parents: Donald and Bessie Keats and his daughter -in -law Karyn McEvoy.
Left with endless memories his wife of 65 years Alice, with whom he shared a long and beautiful life filled with love and laughter; his five loving children: Jerry, Wayne, Roxanne (Frank), Corey (Claudine) and Dean (Susan); 14 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter; his brother Cyril (Peggy) and sister Elizabeth. Alfred also leaves behind extended family and friends, who cherished him and will miss his laugh, his caring spirit and his ability to come up with a song at the drop of a hat.
Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., on Saturday July 20, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 2:30pm.
Graveside service will be held at 3:00pm at Memorial Gardens Columbarium.
