It is with great sadness that the family of the late Effie Willcott announce her passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL on Thursday March 21, 2024 at the age of 78. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Glen Willcott, Ottawa, ON, Karen (Victor Jeddore), Conne River, NL, Vanessa (Glen Collier), St. Alban’s, NL & Heather Willcott (Bojrn McDonald), St. Alban’s, NL; grandchildren: Blair Jeddore (Megan Sullivan), Emma Collier (Ethan Organ), Jayda McDonald, Isiah Collier, Karlee McDonald & Kaylee McDonald; sisters: Nellie Loveless, St. Alban’s, NL, Joan Howse, St. Alban’s, NL, Sarah McDonald, St. Alban’s, NL, Rose (Gerald Kendell), Fort McMurray, AB & Tellie (Russell Kendell), St. Alban’s, NL; brother: Peter Poullett (Marie), St. Alban’s, NL as well as a large circle of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Raymond; daughter: Mary Willcott; brothers: Mark Poullett & Mike Poullett; parents: John & Elsie Poullett; brothers in law: Willis Loveless, Jake Howse & Dan McDonald, Funeral service was on Tuesday March 26, 2024 at 11am at St. Ignatius R. C. Church St. Alban’s, with Father Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment at the R. C. Cemetery, St. Alban’s. Funeral Arrangements were entrusted to Hynes’ Coast of Bays Funeral Home, St. Alban’s.
