It is with sadness that the family of the late Marie Ruby Oxford of Springdale, NL, announces her passing at The Valley Vista Complex, Springdale, NL, aged 88 years.
Marie leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her son, Barry (Dorothy) Oxford; grandchildren, Megan (Jeff) Blair, & Leslie (Chris) Hanlon; great-grandchild, Reid Hanlon; sisters, Waverley James, & Georgina (Lloyd) Critch; brother, Kenneth (Julia) James.
Marie is predeceased by her husband, Pearce; an infant son and daughter; her parents, Parmeanus & Gertie James; ‘adopted’ parents, Allen & Pearl James; brother, Wilbert James; sister, Elsie (Roy) Williams.
The Celebration of Life Service will take place at Green Bay Funeral Home, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 1 pm with Major Lindsay Oxford officiating.
The interment will follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Springdale, NL.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
