It is with sadness that the family of the late Gwendolyn Ruby Gloria Tucker, formally of South Brook, Halls Bay, NL, announces her passing at the Carmelite House, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 86 years.
Gwen leaves to mourn with loving memories her children, Dale, Vinetta, & Christina; grandchildren, Robbi (Marsha) Ryan, Rekki Ryan, Gavin Andrews (Kayla), Amanda Andrews (Jake), & Rochelle (Kirklind) Lockyer; great-grandchildren, Caleb Ryan, Riley Cook, Calvin Cook, & Dawston Cook; brother, Gordon (Mary) Short; as well as several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Gwen is predeceased by her husband, Calvin; sons, Gary, Clarence, & Daren; parents, Sidney & Ivy Short; siblings, Bride, Wavel, Don, Stan, Irene, Hubert, & Pearce; son-in-law, Frank Ryan.
The public visitation will take place Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 2-4 pm from Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 10 Bayley Street, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL & Monday, October 23, 2023 at 9:30 am – 11 am from Calvary Pentecostal Church, South Brook, NL.
The funeral service will take place Monday, October 23, 2023 at 1 pm from Calvary Pentecostal Church, South Brook NL, with Pastor Kerry Northcotte officiating.
The interment will follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery, South Brook NL.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are greatly accepted.
