It is with saddened hearts that the family of the late Elmo Fudge of Brighton, NL, age 77, announces his passing on April 18, 2024 at Green Bay Health Centre, Springdale, NL.
Elmo leaves to remember with fond and loving memories; his wife of 54 years, Dale; daughters, Marina Elliott, Genevera (Bruce) Anstey; son, Laverne Fudge; grandchildren, Nathan (Ashley) Sheppard, Aaron (Courtney) Sheppard, Rachel (Mason) Anstey, Miranda Anstey; great-grandchildren, Elaira, Carson, Aubree and Sadie; brothers, Ernest (Dora) Fudge, Frank (Josie) Fudge, Edmund (Jeanette) Fudge; sisters, Ruby McCowan, Golda Vincent, Bride (Cyril) Butler; uncles, Roy Fudge, Cecil (Doreen) Winsor, Warrick (Maxine) Winsor; aunt, Linda (Francis) Verge; as well as many extended family members, and special friends.
Elmo is predeceased by his parents, Chesley & Hilda Fudge; parents-in-law, James & Pearl Pinsent; sister, Evelyn Fudge; son-in-law, Gary Elliott; brothers-in-law, Roy Vincent, John McCowan; sister-in-law, Audrey Fudge.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the doctors, nursing and support staff at Green Bay Health Centre for all their support and special care.
In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place.
A public visitation will take place Saturday April 20, 2024, 7-9 pm at The Salvation Army Triton-Brighton Community Church, Triton, NL.
The funeral service will take place from The Salvation Army Triton-Brighton Community Church, Triton, NL on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 1 pm with Majors Garry and Sandra Ward officiating.
Interment will follow at the Brighton Community Cemetery, Brighton, NL.
No flowers by request, donations in Elmo’s memory can be made to Three Islands Regional East Fire Station, Brighton, NL.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Green Bay Funeral Home, Springdale, NL.
