George W. Hetrick age 67 formerly of Pelzer, SC and Horseheads, NY passed away on Sunday
May 5, 2024 at VanDuyn Rehabilitation Center in Syracuse, NY. George was born in Elmira, NY the son of the late Harry Hetrick and Madeline “Tiny” Hodge Hetrick. He loved to hunt, go tubing, and go to carnivals , and was a member of The Moose Club. George owned and operated Hetrick’s Locksmith Company in Greenville, SC prior to retirement. He was pre-deceased by his wife Florenda Jean “Flo” Wright Hetrick on April 17, 2016. George is survived by his children Katy ( Richard) Crain of VanEtten, NY , Mandy Rudy of Erin, NY , Flo’s children Jason Glover and Kasey Kuhn ; brothers and sisters-in-law: William and Kathy Hetrick and Harry and Debbie Hetrick Jr. ; sisters and brother-in-law: Karen Hetrick , Sally and Neil Cory , and Belena “Beanie” Krusen ; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins , and a host of caring friends. A Celebration of George’s Life will be held at the LYNCH FUNERAL HOME 318 WEST BROAD STREET HORSEHEADS, NY on Monday July 15, 2024 at 11 AM.
