Mrs. Viola Flossie Wilcox of Roddickton, NL. She was born in Hampton, NL on August 3, 1931 to Walter and Matilda Fillier. She has three brothers: Ralph (deceased), Kenneth (deceased) and Larry (Ontario); four sisters: Bessie (deceased), Elma (deceased), Sylvia (deceased), and Ella (La Scie, NL).
It was on August 26, 1950, she married the love of her life Harvey Joba Wilcox at Wild Cove, Canada Bay, NL. Shortly after, they moved to Roddickton where she raised her family of three sons: Raymond (deceased), Winston, and Leander; four daughters: Priscella, Ruby (deceased), Belinda, and Angela.
She was a very family person who loved to bake, knit, especially knitting quilts. In her earlier years, she did work at the Englee fish plant. She learned how to make bread when she was ten years old. She became a Christian in 1958 and faithfully served the Lord thereafter.
It was on October 24, 2024 at 12:30 PM she passed from this life to reap her heavenly reward. Left to share and cherish her memories are her
