The family would like to thank:
Compassionate Home Care, your support during the last years of his life was the very best and we could not have managed to provide him with the comforts of home for as long as we did without you all. He so enjoyed the support and the daily special wave from one of his workers, Thank you.
The staff at Shirley’s Haven, our sincere thanks for the wonderful care you gave him and the support to us during his short stay.
To the doctors, nurses, social worker, dietary and EVS staff at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, Thank you. The expert care given, the compassion to assist us in care decisions and the care during his final days was so greatly appreciated. Your work is difficult but we can’t thank you enough for all you have done for Patrick and us.
To Uncle Bill, thank you for always being there, for your companionship, cooking skills and support. We love you.
Patrick was a quiet man who loved his family and enjoyed the simple aspects of life. He had a great sense of humour and was generous to all those around him. He had a way about him that caused all those who met him to love him and although quiet, he was able to form strong bonds with many who met him. He was the best Uncle, gave the best hugs and had the most beautiful smiling blue eyes. We will miss him terribly but know how fortunate we were.
