It is with great sadness that the family of the late Nathan Seymour announces his peaceful passing on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre with his loving family by his side at the age of 77. Born in Isle aux Morts, he was the son of the late, Eli and Maggie (nee Foote) Seymour.
Nathan will be sadly missed by his loving son, Norman (Lisa) Seymour, and his precious grandsons, Daniel and Eli. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, Roy (Leone) Seymour, Wayne (Grace) Seymour, Eileen Durnford, Colleen (Gary) Hardiman, Ralph Seymour, Eli (Carolyn) Seymour, brothers and sisters-in-law, Grace (Jim) Hinks, Betty Osmond, Maude Seymour, Wilfred (Jean) Feltham, Danny (Diane) Feltham, and special family friend, Cynthia Osmond.
Nathan is now reunited with the love of his life, his wife Dolly, with whom he spent 52 years of marriage. With Dolly’s passing on January 8th of this year his family knew his heart was broken. It is now mended as he is with her once again. He was predeceased by his brothers, George Seymour, Reg Seymour and Claude Seymour, brothers-in-law, Jack Feltham, Calvin (Ruby) Feltham, Mylida (Jim) Kettle, Eric Carter, and Walt Durnford.
In keeping with Nathan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at a later date for Nathan and Dolly Seymour. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nathan may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Words of comfort can be sent to the family by visiting www.oceansidefh.ca.
