It is with overwhelming sadness that the family of the beloved Sharon Anne Pardy of Holyrood, formerly of Parker’s Cove announce her passing at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s on Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the age of 57.
Sharon was a wife, a sister, a sister-in-law, and a friend. But her greatest love was being a mom to Megan, a mother-in-law to Rob and a nanny to two cheeky little boys, Hudson & Jackson.
Sharon leaves to mourn with many beautiful loving memories her husband, Barry of 38 years; daughter, Megan Northwood (Rob) of Queensland, Australia; 2 precious grandchildren, Hudson & Jackson Northwood of Queensland, Australia; sisters, Juanita Moores (Clayton) of Rushoon and Pam Kenway (Dale) of Kelligrews; brothers, Kev Hayse (Adele) of Parker’s Cove, Larry Hayse (Doreen) of Parker’s Cove, Wayne Hayse (Gertie) of Marystown and Kelly Hayse (Evelyn) of Parker’s Cove; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Marion & Patrick Hayse; mother-in-law, Mercedes Pardy; special sister-in-law, Sandra Pardy; and all the beloved members of the Hayse and Pardy Family that went before her along with her faithful and cherished pets Fluffy and Cooper.
The family would like to give special thanks to the wonderful team of doctors and nurses of the ICU Health Science Centre for their amazing care, kindness and compassion shown to Sharon and her family over a very difficult and devastating week. The support shown to Sharon and the family was truly appreciated.
The Pardy Family will be accepting visitors at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Parker’s Cove on:

7pm – 9pm
A Funeral Mass will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Parker’s Cove on:
Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 10:30am
Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Cemetery, Parker’s Cove.
In Sharon’s memory donations may be made to The Canadian Mental Health Association Newfoundland and Labrador or flowers gratefully accepted.
