It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Paul Hackett of Iqaluit, formerly of St. Bernard’s announces his passing. Paul passed away at the Ottawa General Hospital in Ottawa, ON on August 2, 2024 at the age of 60. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his daughter, Emma Wile (Aaron); parents, Mary Frances (O’ Buddy) & Jerome Hackett; granddaughter, Hallie (Little Buddy); sisters, Janis Devereaux (Eiryn); brothers, Jerry Hackett (Michelle), Timothy Hackett (Kyla Johnson), Tyrone Hackett; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Paul was predeceased by his grandparents, Veronica & John Power and Catherine & Jerome Hackett.
The Hackett Family will be accepting visitors at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church in St. Bernard’s on:
Thursday, August 8, 2024
3:00pm – 9:00pm
Friday, August 9, 2024
10:00am – 12 noon
A funeral service will take place at Sacred Heart RC Church – St. Bernard’s at:
Friday, August 9, 2024 at 2:00pm
Interment to follow.
In Paul’s memory donations may be made to the family or flowers gratefully accepted.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the care of Wiseman’s Funeral Homes – Marystown.
