It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Margaret Walle of St. Bernard’s announces her passing. Margaret passed away at the Notre Dame Memorial Hospital in Twillingate on Sunday, October 15th, 2023, at the age of 80. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Freeman Walle (Louise) of St. Bernard’s, Gary Walle (Elizabeth) of St. Bernard’s, Brian Walle (Nicole) of Cold Lake, AB; daughters, Christine Wheeler (Neville) of Carter’s Cove, Donna Hynes (Gerard) of St. Bernard’s; 10 grandchildren, Patricia (Chad), Neil, Stephen (Vanessa), Justin (Noelle), Kayla (Junior), Shayne (Jenesta), Tiffany (Jason), Tristian (John), Dominique (Johnny), Haley; 9 great-grandchildren, Gavin, Dylan, Peyton, Summer, Destiny, Dani, Liam, Brayden, Kaydence; sisters, Masie Hawkins (Raymond) of Embree, Lillian Fisher of Corner Brook; brothers, Alonzo Curtis (Michelle) of Hatchet’s Cove, Albert Curtis (Judy) of Toronto, ON; extended Gates Family; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Gerald Walle; parents, Hubert & Minnie Curtis; brothers, Freeman Curtis (Loretta), Lester Curtis (Maude), David Curtis (Dorothy); brother-in-law Jim Fisher.
The Walle Family will be accepting visitors at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine, NL on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 starting at 7:00 pm. And again on Wednesday, October 18th, 2023 all day. A Funeral Service for Margaret will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Jacques Fontaine, NL on Thursday, October 19th, 2023 at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at St. Paul’s Anglican Cemetery.
