It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Jessie Appleby of Marystown announces her passing. Jessie passed away at her home on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the age of 70.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her partner, Edgar Williams; daughter, Holly Power (Stephen) of Marystown; sons, Tommy Appleby (Rhonda) of Marystown and Rod Appleby (Jackie) of CBS; granchildren, Chanasie (Andre), Dante (Ashanti), Courtney (Mohamad) and Nataya; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Ava; sisters, Agnes Byrne (Martin) of Marystown, Leona Drake of Marystown, Bernice Miller (Wayne Kelly) of Spanish Room and Brenda Farrell (Phil) of Little Bay; brothers, Ron Miller (Sheila) of Creston North, Gord Miller of Marystown, Terry Miller (Laura) of Marystown, Jim Miller (Loretta) of Marystown, Gerard Miller of Marystown and Brian Miller (Mary) of Marystown; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Jessie was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Appleby; parents, Edward & Alice Miller; brother, Kevin Miller; brother-in-law, John Drake; and parents-in-law, Thomas & Florence Appleby.
The Appleby Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on:

A funeral service will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on:
Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 10am.
Interment to follow at St. Michael’s & St. Mary’s Anglican Cemetery, Creston Causeway.
