It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Elizabeth Mary Power announce her passing. Elizabeth passed peacefully away at her home in Marystown on Monday, January 15th, 2024 at the age of 81 with her family by her side.
A loving mother, nan, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. Elizabeth was a woman who knew many and would do anything for anyone. She was the person who made sure everyone else had something to eat, before she ate. She was a worrier about everyone, but determined to make sure her family was always ok. She welcomed everyone into her home and treated everyone like her own.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her sons, Frank (Mildred) of Mount Pearl, Robert (Ada) of Marystown, Kenneth of Marystown, Gary (Daphne) of Winterland and Perry (Helen) of Paradise; daughters, Ethel (Jordan) of Marystown and Jackie (Dennis) with whom she resided of Marystown; daughter-in-law, Wendy; sister, Madonna Nolan of Marystown; brother, Donald Nolan (Florence) of Mooring Cove; grandchildren, Alexander, Shauna (Ryan), Steven (Erin), Stacie, Robyn, Ryan (Marwa), Matthew, Nicholas, Janelle, Zachary, Randi (Jeremy), Chelsey (Robyn), Elizabeth (Carl), Scott (Shelly), Dawn and Dustin (Erica); great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Abel, Ryder, Carmen, Dawson, Anastasia, Noah, Hailey and Nathan; brother-in-law, Leonard Power (Catherine), Howard Power (Madonna) and Gordon Power (Polly); sisters-in-law, Betty Ann Maher (John) and Joan Power; many nieces and nephews; homecare worker, Stephanie Francis, who has been with her for 2.5 years; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband, Kevin (2008); son, Wayne (2010); parents, Alice & Luke Nolan; brothers, Frank, Chester, Kevin, John Pad and Joe; sisters, Ernestine and Mary; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nephews.
Elizabeth will aways be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. Forever missed and loved.
The Power Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on

Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Marystown on Saturday, January 20th, 2024 at 10:30am. Cremation to follow.
