It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Eli Evans of Grand le Pierre announces his passing. Eli passed away at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023, at the age of 71.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Beatrice of 46 years; son, Kurt (Amanda); daughters, Selma (Glen) and Jill; 7 grandchildren, Latoya, Brady, Sierra, Parker, Mitchell, Alexis and Alana; sister, Gladys Dicks; brother, Leo (Kim); sisters in law, Madonna (Albert), Sarah (Phillip), Connie (Ivis), Cindy (Jamie), Wilhelmina; brother in law, Glen (Velma); plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Eli was predeceased by parents, Wilson & Elizabeth Evans; parents in law, Margaret & Charles Bolt; brothers, Arthur, Clyde, Thomas and Gilbert Evans; sisters Loretta Strickland and Ida Pierce; brother in law, Walter Pierce; sister in laws, Marion and Harriet Evans.
Visitation will take place from St. Thomas Anglican Church in Grand le Pierre on
Monday, October 9th, 2023 from
4:00pm to 9:00
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 10th at 1:00pm at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Grand le Pierre. Inurnment to follow at St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery in Grand le Pierre.
Cremation has taken place.
In Eli’s memory donations may be made to the family.
