It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden peaceful passing of Edward R. Hodder, age 81 years, of St. Bernard’s, NL on March 17, 2024.
Edward was predeceased by his parents, Leo & Juanita Hodder; parents-in-law, Leo & Bridget Farrell; brothers, Walter and Maurice.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 53 years, Dorothy; children, Wade (Wendy), Carolyn (James), Deanne (Chesley) and Glen (Danielle); grandchildren, Ryan (Paige), Renee (Alex), Nicholas (Nicole), Ryder, Rachel, Jamieson, Lucy and Ben.
Also mourning Edward’s loss are his brothers, Doug (Biney), Kevin (Elizabeth); sisters, Margaret and Marie (Tom); in-laws, Zita, Rita (Felix), Ray, Austin (Barbara), Johnny (Elaine), Leo (Doreen) and a large circle of family and friends.
He was a dedicated family man family man who loved his grandchildren immensely. He was the happiest when he was in his boat on the water. Ed’s Memory will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
The Hodder Family will be accepting visitors at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in St. Bernard’s on:
