It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Cassandra Lavinia Pittman of Marystown, NL announce her passing. Cassandra passed away at the Health Science Centre in St. John’s, NL, on November 25, 2024 at the age of 31. She was a loving and kindhearted lady who loved her children deeply and would do anything for them. She adored her family and was a friend to many, always ready with a big hug whenever it was needed.
Leaving to mourn with so many wonderful memories are her 3 children: Edward, Jocelyn, and Jasmin; mother, Loretta Hodder (Johnny); brother, Tyler Pittman (Isabel); nan and pop, Frances and James Hodder; special uncle, Charlie Hodder; special aunt, Yvonne Williams (Jim); uncles: Ern Pittman (Sandra), Patrick Pittman, Wally Pittman (Conetta), and John Pittman (Barbara); aunt: Betty Pardy (Ed); and special cousin, “Bubby” Christopher Wiseman; along with a large circle of extended family and friends.
Cassandra was predeceased by father, Edward Pittman; grandparents, Josepha and Patrick Pittman; and uncles, Perry and Bob Pittman.
The family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home (4 Markland Rd, Creston South, NL) on:

10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM
7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
A funeral service will take place from Peninsula Funeral Home on:
Saturday, November 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM
An inurnment will follow at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery, in Rock Harbour, NL.
In Cassandra’s memory, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
