Mom always had a special bond with three truly amazing people. Thank you to Dorothy (Dot) Kennedy, Walter (Wally) Fewer and Irene Berube for treating mom like she was your own mom. She loved you unconditionally and always looked forward to your calls, visits and nightly chats.
Mom was such a simple person. As long as she had a word find book, a scratch ticket and a cigarette out on the back deck, she was content. She worked hard raising eight kids, sometimes working two jobs to make ends meet. She loved sweets, especially chocolate bars, potato chips and diet coke. It didn’t take much to make her happy and having her loved ones around to have a chat made her complete.
A sincere thank you to Dr. Morkar, Dr. Stefanelli and their teams as well as all the medical staff at the HSC emergency room and 4 South A. Your care, professionalism and compassion during her brief stay in hospital was greatly appreciated.
At Olie’s request, cremation has taken place with no visitation. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, Nov 6, 2024 at 2:30 pm at Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Church in Harbour Main. Interment will take place at a later date.
If friends and family so desire, donations in Viola’s memory may be made to the Sts. Peter & Paul Parish Church Roof Project.
In silent rooms, your absence rings, A quiet echo of timeless things.
Love that deepened with each year, A gentle hand, a listening ear.
You were my roots, my steadfast ground, The Compass lost, now sorrow-bound.
Your laughter was the morning sun, A light that shone on everyone.
Each memory now a precious shard, Soft and gentle, but sharply scarred.
You gave without a thought of cost, And in your giving, nothing’s lost.
Though you have gone beyond my reach, Your wisdom still has much to teach.
In whispered winds, in evening’s grace, I see the warmth of your embrace.
A mother’s love – unbroken & pure, Through every loss, through all endure.
You are not gone, just changed in form, The light within each passing storm.
I carry you in all I do, In every breath, I carry you.

I love you mom – always & forever!!!
