Mary Hearn Obituary
Passed away on Saturday February 10th, 2024 at the age of 82.
Mary was predeceased by her parents; John and Catherine Wade, her first husband Robert Downey, brothers; William, Walter and Richard, sisters; Margaret and Teresa; parents-in-law; Albon and Hilda Hearn, sisters-in-law; Betty Wade and Mary Wade; brothers-in-law: Basil Merner, Michael Davis, Pat Hearn and Frank Hearn and grandnephews; Davis Didham and Kyle Tremblett.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her husband Tom, of 48 years, sons: Frank (Mary) Downey, Ken (Roxanne) Downey, Glen (Wanda) Hearn and daughter Karen (Rick) Ellis, sisters; Anna Marie Davis and Marion Bonia (Allen), brothers; Raymond Wade and John Wade, sisters-in-law: Helen Wade, Dorothy Wade, Marie Rager, Margaret Bradbury and Margaret Hearn, brother-in-law Webb (Isabelle) Hearn and her 7 precious grandchildren: Kyle (Vanessa), Lucas (Natlie), Mackenzie (Kickland), Jorja, Leah, Hallie and Sofie, as well as many cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
Mary loved her family and made them her first priority always. She loved the outdoors, gardening, berry picking and taking long walks in nature. She loved to travel and spending quite time doing puzzles, sewing and talking with her lifelong friends. She will be forever missed and remembered by many, and we know she is resting in eternal peace.
At Mary’s request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 16th, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and Saturday, February 17th, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A celebration of Mary’s Life will take place following the visitation at Dunphy’s Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday with Father Ken Walsh officiating. The inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, SMB.
