Carol Hodder Obituary
Carol passed away peacefully after a very short illness, with her family by her side at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital – where she had also worked in the Operating Room for 35 years, a career she was deeply proud of and where she forged life-long relationships.
She was born and lived in St. John’s, NL all her life. She was predeceased by her parents; Sheila and Red James, brother Bob James, and her husband of 43 years, Clyde Hodder who passed away in 2020, as well as a much-loved family dog, Caspian.
Carol is survived by her daughter Nadine Hodder and her partner Matt Snow, sister Denise Lewis, brother Paul James and his wife Carol, sister-in-law Marilyn James, extended family from NL to BC that she always kept in touch with, as well as a large circle of dear friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Teresa’s Parish, 120 Mundy Pond Road on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024 at 10:00 am with inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road.

No flowers by request due to allergies. Please feel free to make a donation of your choice in Carol’s memory.
