Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House Palliative Care Unit on November 6, 2023, Russell John Drake, age 83 of Red Cliff, NL, formerly of Belleoram, NL.
Russell leaves to mourn his loving family: daughters, Kimberly (Gordon) at Fort McMurray and Linda at Grand Falls-Windsor; son; Russell Jr. at Belleoram; grandchildren, April Lawrence (Peter) and Devin Drake (Allie), both at Grand Falls-Windsor; great grandchildren, Kennedy Lawrence and Leo Casey; his siblings, brothers, Frank (Delores), Jim (Laura), Garfield and Robert; sisters, Ida Williams, Velma Pittman, Isabella (Raymond) O’Neill and Laura (Alex) Thornhill; as well as a circle of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Russell was predeceased by his spouse, Rosemary; parents, Stanley and Corella Drake; brothers, Orlando and George; and sister, Marion.
