Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, Meta Amelia McDonald, age 81 years of Gaultois, NL.
Meta leaves to mourn her loving family: sons, Allen (Pam) at Cole Harbour, NS, Adam at Gaultois, NL and Adrian (Kimberly) at Beachburg, ON; daughters, Theresa Mullins at Gaultois, Amy McDonald (Angus) at C.B.S., Tammy Maye (Jeremy) at Seal Cove, F. Bay, Suzanne Abblett (Kevin) at Hermitage and Dolores Hunt (Carol) at Clarenville; nineteen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Myrtle Gaulton at St. Alban’s, Maxine Langdon (Ambrose) and Thelma Lee all at Gaultois; son in law, Howard Lecco at Nova Scotia; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Meta was predeceased by her husband, Benjamin McDonald; daughters, Evelyn Leeco and Lillian Annette; sister, Edith Simms; brothers, Wilson Rose and Llewelyn Rose; son in law, Gordon Mullins; brothers in law, Cyril Lee, Jonas Simms and Jim Gaulton.
Visitations will take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois on Wednesday, April 24 and Thursday, April 25.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois at a time and date to be announced. Interment will follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Gaultois.
