Passed peacefully away at the Carmelite House at Grand Falls-Windsor on Saturday, June 29, 2024, Hartley Durnford, age 83 years, formerly of McCallum.
Hartley was predeceased by his loving wife, Susie; granddaughter, Sommer MacDonald; infant son, Corwin; sisters, Ruth Morris, Maude Cutler and Queena Durnford; brother, Wilson Durnford.
Hartley leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his family: daughters, Glenda (Rodney Skinner) at Paradise, Rowena (Dan Skinner) at Hermitage, Elizabeth (Rodger Fudge) at McCallum, Valerie (Garry Framp) at St. Alban’s and Marlene (Ron MacDonald) at Hermitage; sons, Barry (Hannah) at Forrester’s Point and Brad (Sandra) at Hermitage; grandchildren, Quentin, Jordan, Ashley, Brandon, Lucas, Hunter, Christina, Auston, Brooklyn and Aaron; great grandchildren, Roman, Reese, Hayden and Quinn; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Visitations will take place at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage on Sunday, June 30 from 7pm to 9pm and on Monday, July 1 from 2pm to 4pm and 7pm to 9pm.
