Passed peacefully away at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, Gordon Strowbridge, age 77 years of Harbour Breton.
Gordon leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Marion, of 53 years; sons, Carl (Annie) and Palmer; daughter, Rhoda (Brad), all at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Zachery (Ashley) at Paradise, Keegan (Kenita) and Chloe (Matthew) at Harbour Breton and Dawson (Cassandra) at Clarenville; great grand-children, Kayson and Lydia at Harbour Breton; sisters, Linda (Sue) at Winnipeg. MB and Ada (Jeff) at Edmonton, AB; sisters-in-law, Emily, Barbara and Evelyn; brothers-in-law, Eric, Fred, Dave and Roger; as well as a large circle of family and friends.
Gordon was predeceased by his parents, John and Martha Strowbridge: in-laws, Sebina and Chesley Bishop; sister, Alfreda; brother-in-law, Ralph Mullins; sisters-in-law, Anne Zwicker and Lisa Bishop; brothers-in-law, Frank Bishop, Eric Lace and Charles Savoury; niece, Sandra Strickland.
Visitations will take place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, December 12 from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 13th, 2023 at 11:00am from Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating.
