It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frances Mary Nicol on Thursday, October 24th, 2024 at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre, age 72 years, of Harbour Breton.
Frances leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, Gary Nicol of 50 years married; son, James Nicol (Jennifer John) at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Janessa, Hailey, James, David, Jayden and Jaime; brothers, Theodore Snook (Doreen) and Angus Snook (Roxanne) all at Harbour Breton; sisters, Eileen Organ (Harry), Martha Hunt, Evelyn Bishop and Sharon Stone (Gary) all at Harbour Breton; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Frances was predeceased by her son, Dean; parents, Theodore and Clarinda Snook; sister, Georgina Cox; brothers, John Snook, Phillip Snook and Stewart Snook; special niece, Johanna Cox; special nephew, Glen Hunt; sisters in law, Rita Snook, Emily Bishop and Jane Snook; brothers in law, John Hunt and Frank Bishop;
Visitations took place on Saturday, October 26 at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service was held on Sunday, October 27th, 2024 at 2:00pm at Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Rev. Jonathan Durdle officiating.
Cremation followed.
