It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ambrose Robert Snook, Jr. on Friday, May 10th, 2024 at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre, age 78 years, of Harbour Breton.
Ambrose leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Bessie of 58 years married; sons, Ambrose Jr. (Nancy) and Peter (Natasha) all at Harbour Breton; daughters, Rosaleen Snook (Gordon) at Alberta, Helen Snook (Wesley Jr.) at Wreck Cove, Maureen Snook (Carl) and Barbara Simms (Corey) all at Harbour Breton; grandchildren, Jessica, Peter, Robyn, Kyle, Tyler, Tyra, Andrew, Sara, Alexis, Jonathan, Stacey, Spencer and Tammy; great grandchildren, Robert, Haile, Brian, Jamie, Ashley, Atticus, Wyatt, Allie, Elias and Avery; brothers, Levi Snook (Daphne) at Harbour Breton, Ronald Snook at St. John’s and Danny Snook (Heather) at New Brunswick; sisters, Winnifred Murray, Margaret Haigh and Roberta Thebeau (Pascal) all at New Brunswick; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Ambrose was predeceased by his parents, Ambrose and Elsie Snook; brother, Archibald Snook; great grandson, Brayden Snook
Visitations will take place on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 at Spencer’s Funeral Home, Harbour Breton from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on both days.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 13th, 2024 at 11:00am at Spencer’s Funeral Home Chapel at Harbour Breton with Fr. Tom Duffenais officiating. Interment will follow at the RC Cemetery, Harbour Breton.
