Derek Squires Obituary
Derek Wayne Squires passed away suddenly, at his home, on October 23rd, at the age of 78.
Left to mourn his passing are his sons Gregory (Holly), Mark, daughter Kristina, stepsons Audie (Catherine), Brandon (Candace), beloved companion Beverly, granddaughters Emma and Avery and many other family, friends and fellow truck drivers.
A wake will be held at Hoskins Funeral home, on Sunday, October 27th, between 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The family welcomes all friends and family members to come pay their respects and share their memories of Derek.
“He traveled the road, on years gone past, a life he chose and hoped would last. Driving all night from state to state, trying to get home and arriving so late. He parked his truck now, his engine has stopped, for those that love him, their hearts have dropped. He traveled the country with a smile of great pride. Now he drives the streets of heaven on the trucker’s last ride. May god ride with you, 10-4 and goodbye”
