It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Stanley B. Trimm of Grand Bank, announces his passing at St. Claire’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s on October 22, 2024 at the age of 87.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife of 68 years, Phoebie Trimm; sons, Jerry Trimm (Elaine) , Chris Trimm, Stanley Trimm Jr. (Marie), Sheldon Trimm (Lisa), Troy Trimm (Donna), all of which reside in Grand Bank; daughters, Sandra Warren (Joe) of Grand Bank, Wanda Baker (Charles) of Grand Bank, Paulette Power (Dave) of Little Bay, Jody Rideout of Twillingate; sisters, Margaret Matthews, Eileen Collins, Lenora Thornhill (Jake); brother, Wayne Trimm; 11 grandchildren, Cheryl, Bruce, Conway, Collette, Ryan, Tyler, Jennifer, David, Devon, Carley, Kendyl; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Stanley was predeceased by his parents, Byatt & Ada Trimm; parents-in-law, John & Gladys Keeping; granddaughters, Melissa Barter & Vanessa Warren; son-in-law, Keith Rideout; brothers George Trimm (Betty), Charles Trimm, Lloyd Trimm (Laura); sisters, Ethel Hillier (Cecil), Alice Pitcher (George); brothers-in-law, Eli Matthews, Gerald Collins; sister-in-law, Margaret Trimm.

Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank.
In Stanley’s memory donations may be made to Melissa’s Maid’s (Polka Dot Trot) or Mental Health and Addictions (Burin Initiative). Both charities that have become near and dear to the Trimm Family upon the loss of their precious granddaughters.
