It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Samuel James Hillier of Grand Bank, NL announces his passing. Samuel passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin, NL on June 24, 2024 at the age of 78.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his wife, Jean of 53 years; son, Brent Hillier (Dawn Butt) of St. John’s & daughter, Heather Hillier of Windsor, Ontario; grandchildren, Samara, Jersey & Lincoln; sister, Leah Atkinson; brother, Albert (Annette) Hillier; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Samuel was predeceased by his parents, Albert & Bertha Hillier; brother, Noah Hillier; sister, Mildred Noseworthy; parents-in-law, Samuel & Agnus Clements.
The Hillier Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Grand Bank on:
Friday, June 28th
2:00PM – 4:00PM
7:00PM – 9:00PM
A funeral service will take place at The Salvation Army Citadel, Grand Bank on:
Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 11:00AM
Interment to follow at The Salvation Army Cemetery, Grand Bank.
In Samuel’s memory donations may be made to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
