It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Nellie Coombs of Grand Bank announces her passing. Nellie passed away at her home on November 20, 2024 at the age of 81. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband of 31 years; Fred Coombs; mother-in-law, Jane Coombs; sisters, Bernice Samson, Gertrude Pinksen (Roland); brothers, Doug Loder (Maxine), Leonard Loder (Millie), Boyd Loder (Cynthia); sisters-in-law, Corella Coombs, Geraldine Buffett (Joe); brothers-in-law, Calvin Coombs (Pauline); 19 Nieces & Nephews whom she loved; Special Friends, Phyllis & Clyde Elliott of St. Anthony; Special Cousin, Raymond Clarke, plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Nellie was predeceased by her parents, John and Florence Loder; father-in-law, Fred Coombs Sr; brother, Elijah; sisters, Daphne (Cec), Margaret (Oliver); brothers-in-law, Thomas Coombs (Regina); Lloyd Rideout; Hiram Samson; nephews, Bradley Coombs & Morris Newman.
